These are watches that a lot of people would wish to own but, at the same time this is also where it reaches the point of being unattainable for most people. Nonetheless, it does not stop people from wishing they had the chance of purchasing one of these watches. At this price range I am just showcasing some of my favourite watches released this year upwards of $10,000 and some of them are well above $100,000. All prices are in USD.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Hybris Mechanica Calibre 185 ($1.5million+)

This watch was released at the Watches and Wonders event this year, and was easily one of the best watches to be announced at that event. There are only 10 pieces available worldwide, and features four different watch faces that can be changed to and feature some extreme complications some never attempted by other watch manufactures. There are a total of 11 complications on the watch spread across 4 watch faces and paired with a blue alligator leather strap. While it is a lot higher than the $10,000 mark, the complications and complexity of this watch deserves a lot more attention and praise. I talk about it in a lot more detail here.
Grand Seiko SBGZ007 ($79,000)

My favourite watch that was released this year from Grand Seiko, I am a huge fan of any dial that resembles or takes inspirations from stars and this particular dial nails it perfectly. The dial and case have gone through an incredible amount of work and hours with a lot of tiny details all across the watch. The case is made out of 950 Platinum, the hour markers are made out of 14K white gold and the case is entirely hand engraved by the Micro Artist Studio with each groove being made individually. I talk about the watch in a lot more detail here.
Hublot Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami All Black ($27,300)

I was surprised to find a Hublot from the novelty collection that I liked, even more surprised that it came from the artist Takashi Murakami. Looking at his art and his art style I thought for sure it would be extremely colourful and bright, instead it comes out an incredible all black with a black rotating dial based on one of his most popular artworks. The dial was set with 456 black diamonds and the face of the flower is set with 107 black diamonds. The case and bezel are made out of black ceramic, and strikes a perfect balance between being flashy and sleek. I talk about it in a lot more detail here.
Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7300/1200A-011 ($30,000)

Patek Philippe has one of the richest histories amongst other watch manufacturers, and the continuous goal to create and innovate with their watches is what made them stand the test of time and solidify themselves as one of the top watch manufacturers and brands. This is an excellent ladies watch that features an olive-green sunburst dial with a case hand-set with 160 Top Wesselton Pure diamonds. It features the 324 C automatic movement from Patek Philippe that can be viewed through the sapphire case back.
Vacheron Constantin Patrimony self-winding 36mm white gold ($25,900)

Another manufacturer and brand same as Patek Philippe that also has an incredible history and legacy behind it. This watch in particular is the perfect dress watch and it comes in a case made out of 18K white gold and features the Caliber 2450 Q6/3 which can be seen through the sapphire case back that also reveals an oscillating weight made out of 22K gold. You can also get your own leather strap, from the colour to the stitching or even the colour of the side edges. You are also able to add a design or text to the lining of the watch to make it even more special directly from Vacheron Constantin. This watch is available in a wide variety of designs and case materials. You get an excellent dress watch that is elegant and with a very prestigious brand and a fantastic movement.
