Oliver Smith and Parmigiani Fleurier Release a Limited Edition Tonda GT and Tondagraph GT

This year Oliver Smith Jewelers is celebrating their 40th anniversary and in celebration they are releasing two limited edition watches in collaboration with Parmigiani Fleurier. There will only be 20 pieces total between both the Tonda Gt and the Tondagraph GT and judging by these two watches it will be sold out very quickly.  This year also celebrates Parmigiani Fleurier’s 25th anniversary, which makes these two watches even more special than they already are as it can be seen to celebrate both manufactures anniversary in one watch.

Oliver Smith x Parmigiani Fleurier Tondagraph GT and Tonda GT

The first watch is the limited edition Tonda GT which there will only be 15 pieces made. It comes in a case size of 42mm and the case is made out of polished and satin-finished stainless steel with a hand-knurled bezel. The dial is what really stands out from this watch as it has an Oliver Smith brown Clou Triangulaire guilloche dial which honestly is best described through a picture. Unlike most collaborations both watches feature a double signed dial from both Oliver Smith and Parmigiani Fleurier. The Tonda GT features an automatic PF044 movement that has a power reserve of 45 hours. It also features a date window at the top of the dial and a sub seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position.

The second watch is the Tondagraph GT which is only limited to 5 pieces and while it has the exact same polished and satin-finished stainless-steel case with a hand-knurled bezel at a size of 42mm the main change is the chronograph function. The dial has the same colour and design as the Tonda GT, but features three sub dials for the chronograph function. The chronograph function is powered by the PF043 movement that has a power reserve of 45 hours. Both the Tonda GT and the Tondagraph GT feature an exhibition case back where the movement can be fully admired.

Both watches have been done beautifully as it not only is quite rare to have a watch with a brown dial but for it also to be so well executed. Hopefully the collaboration does not end here and both Oliver Smith and Parmigiani Fleurier release more watches in the future. The Tonda GT is priced at $17,700 and the Tondagraph GT is priced at $23,200 and you can purchase them through Oliver Smith Jeweller boutiques or call or email them through their website here.
