Patek Philippe has always been one of the best in watchmaking ever since their inception in 1839, and now in recent times have seen their sport watches getting a lot more popular. So, it only makes sense to release three new models of their chronographs collection introducing some excellent colourway choices and changes in design.

First watch is the 5930P a world time flyback chronograph which is a new version of their 5930G-010. It has an automatic Caliber CH 28-520 HU movement that features a flyback chronograph with a central chronograph hand and a 30-minute counter and a world time function and has a power reserve between 50-55 hours. It also features a 24 hour and day/night indication for 24 time zones. This new version features a green hand-guilloched dial with gold applied hour markers that also feature lume. It also comes with a case made out of Platinum and features an exhibition sapphire crystal case back and comes in a case size of 39.5mm. It comes paired with a shiny bottle green hand-stitched alligator leather strap and a fold-over clasp.


Up next we have the 5204R a split-seconds chronograph perpetual calendar. It has a manual Caliber CHR 29-535 PS Q movement that features a split-seconds chronograph, instantaneous 30-minute counter, perpetual calendar, day, month, leap year and day/night indication which is displayed in apertures and has a power reserve between 55-65 hours. It also features the date indicated by small sub dial and a moon phase and a small seconds sub dial. Previous versions of this watch featured an Opaline and ebony black dials, while this version a slate grey sunburst dial. It comes in a case made out of rose gold at a diameter of 40mm and also features an interchangeable solid and sapphire crystal case back and is water resistant to 30m. It comes paired with a shiny grey calfskin leather strap that is also embossed in an alligator pattern and features a fold-over clasp.


Finally, we have the 5905/1A flyback chronograph and annual calendar. It has an automatic Caliber CH 28-520 QA 24H which features a flyback chronograph, a central chronograph hand and 60-minute counter, annual calendar and a day, date, month and day/night displayed in apertures on the dial and has a power reserve between 45-55 hours. Previous versions of this watch had the case made out of either platinum and rose gold, and also featured a blue and brown sunburst dial. This version is made out of a steel case with a diameter of 42mm and features an olive-green sunburst dial with gold applied hour markers. Unlike the previous versions that featured a leather strap this version comes paired with a steel bracelet and fold-over clasp.


It is always great news whenever a brand like Patek Philippe releases some new watches and these three are no exception. The 5930P will be priced at $100,538, the 5905/1A is priced at $59,140 and finally 5204R comes priced at $309,893 all in respect to the materials used, functionality and complications of each watch. Patek Philippe has released quite a few watches this year and it will be exciting to see how the brand further develops and grows in the upcoming future.
