The new Polo Skeleton from Piaget comes with a brand new movement and also features an extremely thin watch coming it at only 6.5mm thick. If you are a fan of skeleton style watches this is definitely one to consider as Piaget has released two colour options depending on what style you want to go for. It is not a limited edition watch and is currently available through Piaget and their authorised dealers.
As it does come in a skeleton style the wearer of the watch will be able to appreciate the movement of the watch just by taking a glance at it. The movement is the brand new 1200S1 movement which can also be considered an update on their 1200S movement. This movement was updated due to the thickness and style of the watch and also comes with a power reserve of 44 hours. The water resistance on this movement however is rated at 30m therefore be very careful around water and do not take this watch for swimming, as it is only capable of withstanding small splashes of water from washing your hands or rain drops. There are 189 components in this movement that the wearer will be able to fully admire through both the front and the exhibition caseback of the watch.
The watch comes in black or blue, and these colours are reflected in the skeleton movement as well. If you are wanting to have a much more sleek and minimal design then the black version will be for you, while if you like this watch to stand out the blue one would be your best choice. Both watches come with a stainless steel strap and in the box there is also a complimentary alligator leather strap that matches the colour of your watch. The case size comes in at 42mm and as mentioned previously is only 6.5mm thick. The watch also has sapphire crystal both on the front and the exhibition caseback to fully admire the movement and all the beautiful intricate details on the watch.
Both watches are priced at $28,500 and is available through Piaget and their authorised dealers. As mentioned before if this is your preferred style in watches, then this is definitely a watch you should look into. Keep in mind it does seem a bit difficult to read the time due to the skeleton style, as it does seem to blend in with that movement. As it is not a limited edition watch everyone should be able to at least have a look at the watch in person through any of their authorised dealers.
